Drew Fletcher, while at Microsoft co-authored this excellent book on Design Thinking for Engineers: Scenario Focused Engineering: Design and Innovation for Software Engineers. Fletcher invited me to observe his work at Microsoft teaching hundreds of engineers the fundamentals of the process of design and innovation in engineering. I believe the task was to teach every engineer at Microsoft, at the time, this approach. It was quite an incredible thing to observe.
